Six firefighters were injured following a road accident in the municipality of torrecuso (Benevento). For reasons still being investigated, the truck they were traveling in overturned, ending up in a ditch.
All the occupants of the vehicle were rescued by the 118 health workers and transported to the hospital: five to San Pio and one to Fatebenefratelli in Benevento. Colleagues from the provincial command, numerous ambulances and the traffic police intervened on site.
