Referring to Aniello Cesaro's conviction for forgery, Maiello said he "confides in an acquittal on appeal." The panel of judges (composed of presiding judge Francesco Chiaromonte and judges Marina Napolitano and Luca Rossetti) also decided not to proceed against the two entrepreneurs due to the statute of limitations for certain violations.
The Court of North Naples also sentenced the entrepreneur from Marano, Anthony of Guida (7 years in prison) and the technician Oliviero (10 years in prison). Finally, the defendants Salvatore Polverino and Antonio Visconti were acquitted.
