The new name of the Casagiove Market Area has been made official. On Sunday 12 September, the mayor in office Giuseppe Vozza unveiled the plaque that definitively establishes the introduction of the new toponymy in memory of the comic duo native to the city formed by Guido and Giorgio De Rege, in the presence of the councilors delegated to Culture Gennaro Caiazza and Pietro Menditto and the entire group of majority representatives.

The demonstration was attended by Enzo Varone, president of the association and artistic director of the Cabaret Award 'Fratelli De Rege', which this year reached its twelfth edition. During the celebratory morning, there was a speech by journalist and theatre historian Nicola Fano, author of the official biography of the two artists, absolute protagonists of the vaudeville in the first part of the last century in Italy.
The event was also attended by the former mayor Roberto Corsale, supporter and implementer of the resolution that sanctioned this historic name change.
