Caserta. Filmed paid sexual encounters to blackmail clients and get them to hand over the money: three precautionary orders, two under house arrest, one with the obligation to sign in the Caserta hinterland.
This morning the Carabinieri of the Macerata Campania Station in the province of Caserta executed a precautionary custody order against three people: two ended up under house arrest, another with the obligation to report to the judicial police. The order was issued by the GIP Office of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere. The suspects are accused, to varying degrees, of several episodes of extortion in competition, committed in the Municipalities of Recale, Marcianise, Caserta, San Nicola la Strada, Grazzanise and Vitulazio.
The order came at the conclusion of an investigation carried out in 2018 by the Carabinieri of the Macerata Campania station which allowed them to ascertain a serial extortion dynamic, consisting in documenting photographically and through audio-recording sexual encounters, for a fee, held by an Italian woman with some clients, people then blackmailed to gain financial profit, under the threat of divulging the photographic material and audio files relating to the related sexual performances.
The woman's extortion demands had been advanced with the complicity of other suspects, in order to strengthen the intimidating effectiveness and induce the victims to give in to the blackmail. The investigative activity was developed through telephone and environmental interceptions, as well as through the hearing of the injured parties, thus allowing to acquire a serious compendium of circumstantial evidence against the suspects and their various roles.
