Castel Volturno. The body of the diver missing yesterday during a fishing trip in Destra Volturno has been found.
The man, a fishing enthusiast, had dived with a friend: they were equipped with rods and a wetsuit, but one of the two was unable to resurface. The alarm was raised immediately. The firefighters arrived on the scene first, patrolling the stretch of sea, and then the divers from Naples.
This is Giovanni Orefice, resident in Casoria, he was returned from the sea waters not far from the dive point, lifeless. The body was transported at first light of the morning to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Caserta for the autopsy.
It was the latter who found the body of the diver, probably struck down by cardiac arrest while he was in the water.
