The epidemic curve in Italy is still decreasing.
I new cases there are 4.021, compared to 2.800 yesterday (but like every Monday the swabs and positives recorded are halved) and above all the 4.720 of last Tuesday, confirming a decreasing trend on a weekly basis of around 15%. On the increase instead are deaths, 72 (yesterday 36), however with several recoveries dating back to other dates.
The victims since the beginning of the epidemic exceed 130 thousand, to be precise 130.027. The slow decrease in hospitalizations is also confirmed: intensive care is 9 less (yesterday +4) with 29 entrances of the day (this data is also clearly slowing down) and drops to 554, while ordinary hospitalizations are 35 fewer (yesterday +87), 4.165 in total.
This is what emerges from the SNOW daily newspaper of the Ministry of Health. I swabs there are 318.593, almost 200 thousand more than yesterday, so much so that the positivity rate drops to 1,3%, one point less than yesterday.
The region with the most cases today is still the Sicilia, although declining for several days, with 684 infections, followed by Lombardia (+ 435), Veneto (+ 427), Lazio (+326) and Emilia Romagna (+ 314).

The total cases thus rise to 4.613.214. The healed, 7.501 (yesterday 4.186) for a total of 4.360.847 since the beginning of the pandemic. The number of people currently positive it drops further: 3.564 fewer (yesterday -1.430), and there are 122.340 in total, of which 117.621 in home isolation.
