Coming to the radio tomorrow, Friday 1st October, "From the Cradle”, the single that marks the recording debut of mikele, a young company ready to establish itself as one of the freshest and most interesting new generation Crossover brands.

A European sound that unites and mixes different musical genres that are only apparently distant, blending them with different languages, the result of his studies and experiences.

The title may be misleading. In fact, “From the Cradle” describes an embryonic state of mourning, that intimate and solid feeling that we cannot shake off when we face the death of someone very close. From this “sombre” theme comes the Berlin nightclub sound.

The song, entirely produced by mikele, draws influence from techno. The rest are instrumental inserts: the piano is one of the protagonists of the single as well as the artist's flagship instrument. The result is a dark atmosphere with references to the beats of Fuera and the whispered of Billie Eilish.

"I'll start from here, I'll start telling you about myself from this song, from a cradle that unites life and death – says mikele – I don't see a better way at this moment, after a long time in which I reflected on the death of a person close to me. But that's not all, there is much more. If you want ask me more".

The video clip, signed by the director Davide Santinello, represents a journey. Wandering through a tavern overrun with bats leads to a nearby abandoned factory. Here, manipulating machinery has no effect, however, a bright peak appears at the top of the building.

The artist, having reached the supreme point but tormented by his own dissatisfaction, pushes himself beyond the limits of his journey: having reached the top, he decides to return to the unknown by jumping into the water. This choice leads to his death, but at the same time to a rebirth. His cradle. And from the cradle, here comes mikele.
