Two other tragic stories in which the victims are women killed by exes or as in the case of Angelica Salis, killed in Quartucciu in the province of Cagliari by her husband Paolo Randaccio, who confessed to the murder of his wife and after the deadly fight called 112 and was arrested. The wife's body was in a pool of blood: her husband had hit her with a kitchen knife. A wound to her neck was fatal.
Angelica was killed by her husband with whom she had constant arguments.
The latest in chronological order for Angelica occurred last Wednesday when she had to run out into the street barefoot to ask for help. Then 24 hours later the man stabbed her to death. Immediately afterward he called the police: “Come and get me, I’ll be waiting for you. I killed my wife”. The soldiers found him waiting for them behind the front door, still covered in blood, while Angelica lay dead in the dining room with the knife on her neck. Tomorrow the autopsy will clarify how many stab wounds were inflicted and which were the fatal ones for the 60-year-old housewife from Quartucciui. The man is in prison, arrested for voluntary homicide, awaiting questioning to validate the crime. Since his arrest he has not said a word. His three children, two girls and a boy, all married and living in different municipalities in the hinterland, are in disbelief.
Also on Facebook is Angelica's latest post: "Sometimes life brings you to your knees, makes you cry and you think you don't have the strength to go on - she wrote a few days ago - but remember that there is someone who lives off your hugs and your smiles. Get up and fight because life is not always easy, but it is the most precious thing you have".

But the long trail of blood did not stop, less than 24 hours after the crime of September 9th, Rita Amenzi, 31 years old, was killed in a real ambush, planned by her ex-husband, in Noventa Vicentina in the province of Vicenza.
The man, Pierangelo Pellizzari, 61, who is now wanted by the police, waited for her at 7 in the morning while she was going to the factory, and killed her with 4 gunshots. Then, Pierangelo Pellizzari, 61, unemployed, with a conviction for threats and injuries to his previous partner, ran away. Leaving his young wife dying on the ground in the parking lot of the Mf Funghi company, in Noventa Vicentina, he got into his gray Jeep and disappeared. The carabinieri are still hunting him, and at the same time they continue the search in the fields, ditches and other possible hiding places near his house in Villaga, because it cannot be ruled out that the murderer may have ended it all, taking his own life with the gun. A dramatic day also for the employees of the Vicenza company where Rita Amenze, 30, worked, a fresh mushroom canning company. The young woman arrived on time, by car, at the company parking lot: having arrived before her, shortly after 7, her ex-husband waited behind a bush, and when his wife got out of the car he set off the ambush. He approached her, pulled out a gun and fired, shooting the victim four times at point-blank range in the chest. Fatally shot, Rita slipped to the ground between two cars, while the killer got into a gray Jeep and fled. Witnesses raised the alarm. The manhunt began immediately, throughout the province of Vicenza, with dozens of carabinieri and police officers on Pellizzari's trail. To track down the killer, the carabinieri also sent out a helicopter, which flew over a vast area of the Lower Vicenza area. Then came the report that the murderer's car had been found abandoned near the house where he lives, in via Quargente di Villaga (Vicenza), a few kilometers from where the man had shot. The house was surrounded by the Carabinieri, armed and wearing bulletproof vests, while the searches, also conducted by the police, continued in the area and on the highway network. So far, everything has been in vain. The man, whose gun license had been revoked in 4, is armed, and therefore could be very dangerous. According to what has been reconstructed, the young woman had been away from home for at least a week following an argument with her husband over disagreements related to a trip she had just returned from to Nigeria. Rita Amenze had arrived in Italy in 2008 as a refugee, and shortly after she had met Pellizzari, the man who would become her murderer, marrying him and going to live with him.
