Vicenza. Young mother killed in the Vicenza area: the killer, hunted by the police, took his own life with the same gun used to kill Alessandra Zorzin.
Marco Turrin, 38 years old, security guard from Vigodarzene in the province of Padua, took his own life, shooting himself with the gun he had used to kill the 21-year-old Major montecchio, in the province of Vicenza, a few hours earlier.
At around 20.30:XNUMX pm, the man – wanted for the brutal murder of his young mother – committed suicide in his car, near Vicenza Ovest.
The attention of the Carabinieri had immediately focused on Turrin, having acquired numerous clues against him. The 38-year-old had wandered around for hours in his car after the crime. During the day he had been spotted passing through the province and other surrounding areas several times, but the patrols on site had not managed to intercept him.
In the evening, the car was detected again in the province, in the Creazzo area. From there she was intercepted in the Vicenza Ovest area by two patrols of the Carabinieri and the police.
At the sight of the patrols, Turrin, feeling trapped, shot himself inside the car. Immediately rescued, despite the attempts of resuscitation by the medical staff, he died shortly after.
In the morning he had used the same weapon he had as a security guard to fire a single shot at the face of Alessandra Zorzin, a 21 year old girl, married and mother of a two year old girl. The murderer then calmly left the house, got back into his car and fled.
Investigators have reconstructed the phases of yet another femicide, the second in 5 days in the province of Vicenza. At 11 yesterday, September 15, Turrin knocks on Alessandra's door: she is alone, she has not gone to the hairdressing shop in Vicenza where she works and her daughter is at nursery school.
It is a regular meeting, neighbors report, a male presence that has become particularly assiduous for some time. But yesterday morning, something tragic happened: first the screams of an argument, then a dull noise, a gunshot.
The killer walked away. It was the young woman's husband - alerted by neighbors - who discovered his wife's body lying lifeless on the bed in the bedroom.
Many hours later, Marco Turrin killed himself in his car, under the eyes of the carabinieri and the police who were about to arrest him.
