Three entrepreneurs of Bangladeshi and Pakistani origin have been charged with illegal work in Grumo Nevano. They have been issued administrative and criminal fines totaling €137.
The Carabinieri of the Grumo Nevano station together with those of the Operational Nucleus of the Carabinieri Tutela del Lavoro group of Naples have checked 3 textile factories in which violations of the rules on workplace safety were found. The overall balance speaks of 10 "illegal" workers whose identification cost the 3 entrepreneurs of Bangladeshi and Pakistani origin a criminal complaint.
During the activities, administrative and criminal sanctions totaling 137 thousand euros were notified. The workers had not attended safety courses nor had they been informed about the risks they could run. Furthermore, no one was using anti-contagion personal protective equipment. The three businesses have currently been suspended.
