Sasso: “We hired teachers faster than in previous years.”
The Undersecretary of Public Education, Rossano Sasso, said this while speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a conference underway at the headquarters of the Campania Regional Council in Naples. For this year “we have already placed more than 60 thousand teachers in the classroom but of course there remains the gap in the stabilization of staff and I do not forget the stabilization of teachers with more than 36 months also because precariousness is the enemy of teaching continuity”.
For vaccinations without imposing an obligation on the “over 12, who are the vaccinatable children, we have reached quite high percentages”. “Today we are at 94 percent of school personnel vaccinated – continued Sasso – and in the remaining 6 percent we must consider the recovered and the fragile workers, so we have reached very high figures”.
As for "the 16-19 and 12-15 age groups, we are in a range that goes from 67 to over 80 percent in some areas. And I think that our kids spontaneously continue to get vaccinated." For Sasso, it is true "that the vaccine is essential but we still need to inform" without forgetting that "unfortunately the vaccine does not always repair the infection and after the infection we must understand that tracking is important"
