The Casina Vanvitelliana, a site of historical and cultural interest in the city of Bacoli, on Lake Fusaro, strongly desired in 1782 by King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, designed and built by Luigi and Carlo Vanvitelli, officially becomes part of the Bourbon Residences of Southern Italy and, therefore, the circuit of the Royal Sites of Europe.

This agreement aims to enhance the Bourbon Residences of Southern Italy and represents a great opportunity to relaunch tourism for Bacoli by placing the Vanvitellian Compendium of Fusaro (and with it the Casina Vanvitelliana) alongside many other sites of regional interest such as the Royal Palace of Naples, the Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Royal Site of Carditello Foundation, the Archaeological Park of Ercolano, the Royal Palace of Portici, and the Archaeological Museum of Naples.

"We are very happy," said Mayor Josi Gerardo Della Ragione. "I thank Alessandro Manna, president of the Siti Reali association, for what we will be able to accomplish together. We have embarked on the right path. Let's follow it together. One step at a time."
