Luca Morisi, the creator of the League's social media campaign, is under investigation for drug-related charges. He resigned a few days ago from his position as head of social media communications due to "family issues."
Luca Morisi, creator of the social campaign of the League led by Matteo Salvini, is under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office in Veneto for the sale of narcotics. This is what some newspapers report.
After a search, some doses were found in his home in Verona. Morisi had left his position as head of social communications for the leader of the League a few days ago "for family reasons".
Luca Morisi apologizes to the party, its secretary and his family after the news about him appeared in the press. The League reported this in a note.
“I have not committed any crime, but the personal story that concerns me represents a serious fall as a man – writes Morisi – First of all, I apologize for my weakness and my mistakes to Matteo Salvini and to the entire community of the League to whom I have dedicated the last years of my working commitment, to my father and my family, to my lifelong friend Andrea Paganella alongside whom I started my professional activity, to all the people who love me and to myself".
And he adds: “I resigned from my roles within the League on September 1st: it is a very painful moment in my life, it reveals unresolved existential fragilities to which I need to dedicate all the time possible in the near future, counting on the support and affection of the people closest to me”.
