Maddaloni, traffic warden accused of pocketing 54 thousand euros in fines

Maddaloni. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere has in fact signed the closure of the investigations against the investigated traffic policeman: the municipal employee now risks trial for the alleged crime of forgery of a public document.

The crime, according to the reconstruction of the Prosecutor's Office, would have been committed by accessing the information system and modifying the receipts which in practice become false documents.

The citizens paid the fine by showing the receipt of a non-existent account while the receipt was reused to pay other fines. In this way she would have managed to obtain 54 thousand euros in cash for the fines. The Municipality of Maddaloni has already given the mandate to proceed with the constitution of the civil party against the investigated in the eventual trial.
