“Ti porto in Texas” is the new single by actor and singer Mario Ermito released by the Dreamsound label (distributed by Believe Digital) today, Friday 24 September.
The song, the result of the artistic collaboration with Marco Evans (vocal coach and music producer), tells of a dream that the artist confided to Evans one night in the recording studio, in which his passion for horse riding and the Western genre emerged. And so, playing the piano, with an electronic reggaeton beat, “Ti porto in Texas” was born. An ideally iconic journey, of love and passion, “to live like in a movie”.
Regarding the single Mario Ermito states: “Ti porto in Texas” is my very first unreleased song and as such I wanted to tell my story through a real journey into my soul, a romantic and at the same time adrenaline-filled journey, which through references to iconic characters, such as Terence Hill and Pecos Bill, encompasses my passions for Cinema and the Western genre. I am sure that with this song I will have the opportunity to make myself known further through what is considered a universal language, music. I hope that anyone who listens to it feels transported on this journey into feelings and lightheartedness.
The single is accompanied by a video clip directed by David Petrucci and produced by Alex Pacifico of APM Production. The video is set in the fantastic setting of the Antica Scuderia immersed in the greenery of the Roman countryside, a place to which Mario is strongly attached given his great love for horses.

Mario Ermito was born in Brindisi on October 2, 1991. At the age of 17, he won the national title of “Most Beautiful Model in Italy,” which kicked off his career as a model, leading him to walk the runways of the most important international designers. But it was in 2012 that he discovered his talent and passion for acting, which saw him busy on the sets of some of the most successful Italian fictions until he landed in international cinema in 2020. Important for his musical career was his participation in the program Tale e Quale Show, in 2018, which saw him engaged in dealing with various styles and for which he was appreciated by the general public as a performer. On September 24, 2021, his first single “Ti porto in Texas” was released by the Dreamsound label.
