Mass of Sum. The Carabinieri of the San Sebastiano al Vesuvio Station arrested CM, a 55-year-old from Cercola, for robbery. Numerous complaints were collected by the military for various robberies committed in recent days in the municipalities of Massa di Somma, San Sebastiano al Vesuvio and Cercola.
And it is precisely to combat this type of crime that the Carabinieri have set up ad hoc territorial control services. During one of these they intercepted a motorcyclist in via Paparo in Massa di Somma, similar in appearance to the robber reported several times.
He did not respect the stop and fled, losing control of the vehicle after a few meters
He fell to the ground and was only then stopped. He had a blank pistol with 7 blanks in the magazine and a wedding ring. The ring, the military reconstructed, had just been stolen at gunpoint from a 48-year-old from San Sebastiano al Vesuvio.
The victim, who in the meantime had reached the station to report the facts, was thus able to get back – with great joy – the ring to which it was linked.
The 55-year-old was arrested and then transferred to Poggioreale prison, at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities.
