The weather is about to change, at least in some regions, but we are waiting for a further weather upheaval expected for next week which could affect all of Italy.

The team at www.iLMeteo.it warns that from today and at least until the weekend a series of Atlantic disturbances will strongly impact the northern regions and some of the Central Tyrrhenian. First the Northwest will be affected by rain and thunderstorms (today), then it will be the turn of the rest of the North and Tuscany (Thursday), then the North again and Tuscany again and then Lazio, Umbria and Marche (Friday). And it's not over yet as over the weekend a new storm front will unload its quantity of rain and thunderstorms once again in the North. Happy islands will be the major islands and the whole South where the weather will be dry even if often very cloudy and even hot given that these regions will be affected by an African flame that will make the maximum temperatures soar to over 35 C.
Finally, next week, coinciding with the equinox (Wednesday 22nd), autumn will break out, not only with rain and possible cloudbursts, but also with a general drop in temperatures across Italy, even by 10 C.
