Naples. A walk on the Lungomare on Via Caracciolo risked ending in tragedy for a fifty-year-old Neapolitan woman on Sunday 5 September.
The woman intent on cross the road on the pedestrian crossing he risked being hit by a car who stopped a few centimetres away from her, giving the impression of wanting to challenge her almost as a game. The lady scolded the driver but at that point, after being covered by an avalanche of insults, including vulgar and obscene ones, the woman was reached by the motorist's companion, meanwhile getting out of the car, which after having pulled out a knife snapped out of the bag, he has hit it the lady with two slashes to the arm even hurting her in the muscle.
After the victim's complaint, who also intervened live on the telephone to The Radiazza to tell the story, it was discovered that the driver was a person linked to the criminal underworld Forcella district. The woman, who is also a volunteer for the homeless, has resolutely asked for justice, confirming the complaint and the identification of the attackers.
“First of all, we express our solidarity with the lady who deserves our full support for having had so much courage in reporting and not being intimidated by these criminals. Naples, unfortunately, is increasingly infested by these delinquents and violent people who are making the streets off-limits for decent people. They attack people and even kill them for nothing, as happened the other evening to the delivery man who was beaten to a pulp by a baby gang for not accepting being bullied.
If we do not intervene in a determined and stubborn manner, the city will soon be totally in the hands of clans, criminals and bad people. Is this what is wanted? Certainly not. This is why we need the certainty of punishment to stop this rampant crime. We thank Pino Grazioli for having reported this story”, declared the Regional Councillor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the radio host Gianni Simioli.
