NapoliThe huge fire of a few weeks ago still produces negative effects on the population, forced to breathe miasmas and toxins, and on motorists as the junction of the stretch of the Asse Mediano affected by the fire remains closed to traffic, causing criticalities in vehicular circulation.
“Will we ever see a way out of this nightmare? The closed road really blocks a lot of people, and even an ambulance has to make a huge detour to avoid taking the median axis because it is not passable due to the huge fire. Not only do they pollute our air but they also hinder the saving of one or more lives.” says a citizen who turned to the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“We have been following the situation from the beginning, having also asked Arpac to carry out continuous checks on the air quality to understand if there are any dangers for the residents. Regarding the closure of the Asse Mediano, we have sent a note to Anas to understand how much longer it will take to reopen the stretch of road and ask to speed up the process.
The situation has become unsustainable. We can only repeat that these problems are too often created in these camps that are receptacles of degradation, illegal activities and illicit activities. They must be cleared and demolished, all of them.” –the words of Councilor Borrelli
