'Napoli Eden' the documentary film about Annalaura di Luggo

Il September 22th The State Archives of Naples organizes a special event with the screening of “Naples Eden“, the documentary film (duration 74') on the artist Annalaura of Luggo directed by Bruno Colella, in consideration of the Oscar 2021 as best "Documentary features".

“Napoli Eden”, winner of 8 International Awards, has obtained 8 other nominations for national and international awards and has been selected by the MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) as part of the “Project Promotion of the Country Italy in the World” to be presented in all Italian Cultural Institutes abroad.

“Napoli Eden” is the creative path of the artist Annalaura di Luggo in the conception and creation of 4 monumental works of art in recycled aluminum, created with the participation of some “scugnizzi” from the Spanish Quarters and placed, as a sign of redemption, in symbolic places in Naples.

The project focuses on the need for safeguard the environment and becomes the bearer of positive messages of ethical and cultural rebirth, leveraging thesocial inclusion of the boys of the Spanish Quarters.

The works of “Napoli Eden” were subsequently exhibited at the Studios de Paolis in Rome (August 2020) and at Citylife in Milan (December 2020-January 2021).

The special screening at the Archive will be introduced by the artist Annalaura di Luggo and will host an exceptional audience including Stanley Isaacs producer and director, creative consultant of Napoli Eden coming from the United States, and from Canada Greg Ferris former senior vice president of marketing at Paramount Pictures Canada who served as marketing consultant on the documentary.
