Napoli. The public transport situation is already problematic in Naples, and if the bus stops are immersed in rubbish, it's enough to tear your hair out. This time the blame is certainly not to be placed on the transport company, but rather it is a picture that represents the abandonment by the administrations of the suburbs left to decay and prey to incivility.
The stop in question is located between Barra and San Giovanni a Teduccio, at the intersection of Via Ferrante Imparato and Via Galileo Ferraris. It is the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli who documents what is a disastrous situation to say the least, between the bus stop transformed into a landfill and the flowerbeds completely soiled.
“This area needs to be cleaned up but above all reclaimed, people are forced to walk among the rubbish. It is truly shameful. We have urged Asia to intervene. This situation is the symbolic image of the failure of the current administration which, among its various failures, has completely abandoned the suburbs leaving them prey to incivility that has led to unparalleled degradation.
We need to start administering the territory in a completely different way, with competence, planning, design, determination and also using an iron fist when necessary.” - commented Borrelli.
