Napoli. On the morning of September 1st, on the Naples highway, shortly before the Ponticelli-Barra exit, a driver hit a boy and ran away without providing assistance.
The driver of the car hit the 27-year-old on the rear side of the scooter, causing him to veer onto the asphalt and crash into the guardrail.
The boy was immediately rescued by a worker and agents of the Guardia di Finanza and the Highway Patrol and was transported to the Ospedale del Mare. He will have to face several months of rehabilitation.
We would like the news to be spread as much as possible with the hope that someone who saw something can come forward so they can help identify the driver. In reality, we hope that the person who did this can turn himself in, we forgive him, we just want him to take responsibility." - is the appeal of the 27enen's uncle who addressed the Regional Councilor of Green Europe Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“If anyone has seen something, speak up, come forward, enough with this silence. Justice must be done. We also turn to the hit-and-run driver: turn yourself in and ask for forgiveness, before the police find you.”-commented Borelli and the radio host of La Radiazza Gianni Simioli.
