Napoli. Yesterday evening an officer from the Pianura Police Station, off duty, reported to the Operations Centre that he had intervened in a fight between some youths in via Castaldi and Sequino.
The policeman tried to calm down the young people when a man arrived on a scooter and pulled out a weapon and pointed it at the people present; the officer, after qualifying, ordered him to stop but the man tried to escape and was blocked and disarmed. In those circumstances, the squad cars of the Pianura police station and the General Prevention Office arrived and seized the weapon, a replica of a Glock brand pistol without the red cap and 3 blank cartridges.
The young man, an 18-year-old from Naples with a police record, was reported for aggravated menacing.
