“The closed-circuit cameras of a commercial establishment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele filmed some Asia operators while they spread the waste collected from a bin on the street, instead of removing it. In detail, a first operator can be seen opening the bin, emptying it on the ground and spreading the waste along the entire street with his feet.
Another operator arrives driving a vehicle that observes the scene and then they go away. This is an unspeakable gesture for which I ask the company to take severe measures against these two workers and any others present.
I am sure that in this period of great employment crisis there are many who would like their job to work honestly. I also ask that strict controls be carried out to verify whether this is an isolated case or whether similar cases occur in the city". These are the words of the regional councilor of Europa Verde, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who received the video complaint.
The president of Asìa intervened on the matter, Mary DeMarco, according to which "It was just an accident because the waste bag was missing and as soon as the bin was opened everything fell to the ground."
