Napoli. In Naples, even waste bins are now being stolen. In fact, as reported by citizens to the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, several waste bins with cigarette butts installed in Piazza Medaglie d'oro in Vomero were torn from the ground and taken away by unknown persons.

"We are reaching levels of incivility never seen before, we are astonished. We reported the issue to Asia requesting the installation of new bins but the square must be constantly monitored by the police because for too long it has been the victim of incivility and degrading episodes. If you get to the point of stealing public bins it means that you have no civic sense, no respect for the rules and for others and no love for your own territory.

A general re-education is needed here, there is a mentality that needs to be radically changed and the institutions must intervene in this.”– the Councilor's comment Borrelli and of the group leader of Europa Verde in Municipality V Rino Nasti.
