Naples. The Carabinieri of the Borgoloreto station reported a 24-year-old of Gambian origin, legally resident in Italy, for receiving stolen goods.
He was checked in Piazza Principe Umberto and during a search he was found in possession of 55 smartphones of various brands, 2 PCs, 2 wireless headphones and 1 SIM card. It was all in his backpack and for none of the objects found was he able to provide information on their origin.

From investigations conducted by the military, 11 phones were found to have been stolen, all of which were committed this summer on the beaches of Gallipoli.
