No vax: only two people at the demonstration in Naples. Neapolitan no vax desert the demonstration organized in other cities too
The Neapolitan anti-vax boycotted the demonstration that had been organized, as in other Italian cities, in front of the train station in Piazza Garibaldi, in Naples.
Only Raffaele Bruno, secretary of the Movimento idea sociale, showed up at the meeting, accompanied by another person. Bruno explained why he is against the vaccine and also against the green pass.
“We are against any form of violence, and I am not here to block trains or do anything else. – he told reporters while waving an Italian flag – but since we are in a free and democratic state the vaccine cannot be mandatory".
So no to the vaccine because, according to him, it would require more testing time but also no to the green pass which would limit citizens' freedom of movement.
“We decided together to give up the demonstration – said Bruno – because the Minister of the Interior has mobilized an army of agents. I said that I would come anyway to explain our reasons anyway".
After ten minutes, both Bruno and the other protester left the area in front of the train station, which since the early hours of the morning had been guarded by dozens of law enforcement officers lined up under the curious gaze of passengers who from today must show their green pass to access long-distance trains.
