The Municipality of Mondragone will proceed in the next few hours to formulate the request for a declaration of a state of emergency for the municipal territory that has been severely hit by the exceptional and heavy rains recorded this afternoon, which have caused flooding and inundations in various parts of the city center and the outskirts of Mondragone.
The announcement was made by Mayor Virgilio Pacifico in light of the huge damage suffered by farmers and businesses operating in the city and along the entire Domitian coast.
