Just a short break in August and here is the pine forest of Theater of the Little, in Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples, returns to host the exhibition “Open Air” with more than 30 new theatre, music and workshop events dedicated to children and young people every weekend in September and October.
Saturday 4rd September 11.30 am the show opens with “The colors of music” the first of a series of concerts for children curated by Progetto Sonora. An immersion in music with a listening method entirely commensurate with the needs and listening possibilities of the little ones with a selection of pieces from the modern repertoire and musical theater. The absolute protagonists will be the children and their companions who in some phases of the concert will support the musicians of the Ensemble with small Orff percussions, central elements of the musical laboratory that will precede the artistic performance.

Double replica Saturday September 4 17am and Sunday September 5 11.30 am for the show by I Teatrini “With Peter's wings“, freely inspired by JB Barrie, adapted and directed by Giovanna Facciolo, one of the company’s most successful titles. Flying with Peter Pan through the pine forest to reach Neverland and live the adventure that everyone desires: to remain children forever and have lots of fun! Sunday September 5th at 17pm they also return “Cipollino's stories” the show by Enzo Musicò freely inspired by the imagination of Gianni Rodari produced by Casa del Contemporaneo. Rosanna Gagliotti and Francesco Di Gennaro accompanied by the “foot-animated” puppets created by Fabio Lastrucci and Selvaggia Filippini will bring to the stage the adventures of the shy but courageous Cipollino committed to freeing the country from the absurd laws and rules of King Lemon! Starting from an hour before the Clouds lab curated by the science communicators of Le Nuvole who propose science-themed activities. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a competition – for photos and videos – of the experiments they will be able to reproduce at home.
