Starting tomorrow, Friday 24 September, “DETTAGLI” (Il popolo del blues/alternate takes- Audioglobe), the new album by the Tuscan band òVERA, will be available in stores, on digital platforms and in all digital stores. The album was preceded by the single “Povere”, in collaboration with Paolo Benvegnù.
“The album is titled 'Details' – declare the òVERA – details is a particular word that changes meaning in the context in which it is used, sometimes a detail is just an unimportant nuance, sometimes a detail is what dramatically changes something. We worked with great attention to these timbre, melody, sound, noise details and silences. The collaborations on the album were essential, and we hope they can continue in the future to help our music grow”.
The album was preceded by the single “Polvere”, on the radio from September 24. The song, which features Paolo Benvegnù, is characterized by electroacoustic sounds and an atmosphere full of suggestions accompanied by a text that, starting from a single story, opens up to leverage the inexorable passing of time.

Biography
The band was formed in 1983. Gianluca Barontini and Stefano Nerozzi on guitars, Alessandro Pacini on drums and Andrea Signorini on bass, founded the band with the name “Without Name”. In '91 the change to òvera (an ancient Pistoia dialect term meaning “sprout”). The first album, “Rotolacampo” was in 1995, followed in '99 by “Per l'intanto” and, in the early 2000s, by “Risonanze morfiche”, “Comico alla macchina del tempo” and “Contrappesi”. In 2015 Barontini, co-author and founder, left the band. A few years of “reflection” break followed in the production of new works until 2019, when Paolo Ferro, also author of the new lyrics, joined the original members on vocals. And it is precisely in 2019 that the new album “E io dov'ero” (distributed by “Il Popolo del Blues/Alternate takes/Audioglobe) was released, in which the ancient rock atmospheres that characterized the band, leave room for more intimate lyrics and the cleanliness and rarefaction of sounds, marking a new communicative path. In 2020, òvera are back in the recording studio, together with Gabriele Gai, for the production of the new album “Dettagli”, available from September 24, 2021, where they boast several collaborations including that of Paolo Benvegnù.
