Everything is ready for the second edition of “Author's Stage” which will feature artists from all over Italy, after the boom in registrations with 412 members who submitted their song and video clip to participate in the national contest dedicated to authors, singer-songwriters and performers, created by Tino Coppola and organized by Bit & Sound Music.
The first successful edition took place at theSalerno Sea Arena last year, it was also the first national live competition after the lockdown, attracting great interest from both the public and the artists themselves, thus pushing the organization to continue this year with determination and enthusiasm despite the many difficulties of the period, due to the "Coronavirus" health emergency.
The selection was very difficult and painful due to the record number of registrations and their artistic quality. After listening to around 500 songs, the artistic director Tino Coppola made the selection official. twenty artists who will perform the September 19th in the national final of “Palco d'Autore” in the concert area of the “Blasco's Lair” in Salerno, which will be in alphabetical order: Gaia Bianco, Cabrio, Pietro Daniele, Dual J, Asya Fierro, Rebecca Fornelli, Milena Gaudioso, Miriam James, Alessandro Lucca, Ramen, Monica Rispoli, Ivan Romano, Silvano Santacroce, Saporito 361, SaVma, Selekim, Sandro Sottile, Taverna Umberto I, Benedetta Tirri, Yami.
The evening will also be hosted this year by Claudio Gambaro (Radio Sanremo) national radio and television speaker, expert on the Italian singer-songwriter scene and will also see surprise guests on stage, in addition to a selected jury that will decide the winners of the “Music and Words Award”.
In the musical village that will be created for the occasion there will be cameras of ArtcultureTV, with interviews, backstage and footage of the entire event which will be broadcast on a delay.
The evening starts at 21:00 pm with free admission, assigned seating and access to the facility's internal catering (reservations are recommended).
