The Carabinieri of the Casoria company, as part of investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North, have executed a prison custody order against 13 individuals accused of possession and supply of narcotics, including marijuana, hashish, cocaine, crack, cobret.

The investigations were conducted between January and June 2020 and allowed to ascertain the existence of an accurate mechanism that allowed to minimize the risk of being caught in the act of committing a crime. The illegal activity took place inside the entrance hall of a building in the Parco Verde of Caivano.

The door to the building was locked from the inside and buyers interacted with the drug dealer hidden inside only through a slit. In this way the drug dealer was able to hide his appearance.

Outside the building, some individuals acted as lookouts, with the task of warning the dealer of the arrival of the police, or as those responsible for managing the influx of buyers, who were directed in an orderly fashion towards the slit and held until the drugs were sold. The activity, as the prosecutor Maria Antonietta Troncone wrote in a note, also allowed the identification of some individuals who were physically involved in the supply of the substance, never delivered in excessive quantities, with the simultaneous recovery of the profits from previous sales.

There was a precise division of shifts among the dealers, who took turns, allowing the activity to continue 24 hours a day. The investigations revealed that the victims of the criminal conduct ascertained were the subjects residing in the building who, in order to reach their homes, were forced to wait for the dealer to open the door, inevitably being subjected to strict control and monitoring.
