The national premiere will be held on September 29th, at 21.00 pm, at the theatre politeama of Naples, within the Campania Theater Festival, "Remaking Bach”, choreography and direction by Roberto Zappalà.
A creation that celebrates the thirty-year bond between an artist and her sensual and instinctive dance with the ideal music, with perfect and neutral resolution, of the German composer.
The natural beauty and body language of the ten dancers (Corinne Cilia, Aya Degani, Filippo Domini, Anna Forzutti, Gaia Occhipinti, Delphina Parenti, Silvia Rossi, Joel Walsham, Valeria Zampardi, Erik Zarcone) blend with the ethereal aesthetics of Bach's crystalline notes and give us back the dawn of a humanity without the sounds of today, of its violence and tragedy.
A world where it is still possible to listen to nature, its silences, and understand the “heartbreaking and wonderful beauty of creation”. The assistant choreographer is Fernando Roldan Ferrer, the costumes are by Veronica Cornacchini and Roberto Zappalà. After the debut in September at the Campania Teatro Festival, in October “Rifare Bach” (duration 70 minutes) will be in Milan and Trento, the first stops of the Italian tour.
Tomorrow in Naples something unexpected happens…
The Campania Teatro Festival will be transformed tomorrow into an explosion of emotions and surprises: not just a simple billboard, but a word of mouth of “wow” in the streets of Naples. From Politeama at the Carriage Courtyard, passing through the ancient charm of the New Theatre and the mystery of the royal alleys, each place hides a little secret ready to come out under the spotlight. An opportunity to be surprised by the lightness, the grotesque, the myth and even by a concert suspended between fairy tale and nostalgia.
Behind each title — seemingly cryptic — lies a world to explore: suspended acrobatics, portraits of untamed women, guitars that sing timeless stories, and artisans who shape primordial beauty. The common thread? The enchantment of that moment in which the impossible becomes reality before our eyes, without the need for words.
