Carinaro. The warehouse that housed the auto parts companies “New Technology and Service” and “We Work”, which went up in flames last September 16, did not have a fire prevention plan. In fact, the plan had been presented to the Municipality of Carinaro three days earlier but had to obtain prior authorization from the Fire Department, which, apparently, had not yet arrived.
Meanwhile, investigations continue, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North and conducted by the Carabinieri of the Aversa Group, to ascertain the causes of the frightening fire in the Asi "Aversa Nord" industrial area on the border between Carinaro and Teverola.
The flames may have started near the electrical cabin, and then spread to the inside of the shed where “Mareco”, a company operating in the aeronautical sector, was active in the 80s and 90s, but investigations are underway.
Nearly one hundred thousand euros in cash, some of it suspicious, and counterfeit banknotes already identified during initial technical checks. This is the result of an operation conducted by the Carabinieri in Carinaro, in the Caserta province, where two men were charged with "receiving stolen goods" and "possession of counterfeit banknotes."
The operation began in the late afternoon of January 28, following an investigative effort initiated by the military of the Gricignano di Aversa station and developed with the support of the Carabinieri Anti-Counterfeiting Operations Unit of Naples, a unit specializing in combating the circulation of counterfeit currency.

CARINARO (CE). The area was heavily patrolled yesterday evening, January 2, 2026, when Carabinieri officers from the Gricignano di Aversa station reported a 40-year-old local man at large for unauthorized possession of altered keys and burglary tools.
The operation was initiated during an emergency operation, during which officers stopped a black Fiat Panda used by the man. The vehicle had already been investigated for previous reports of scams targeting elderly people, prompting the Carabinieri to investigate further.
