Great success for the second edition of the 'Roma International Buskers Festival'

New flattering success for Rome International Buskers Festival: now in its second edition, the event dedicated to street artists is now a consolidated event for both the protagonists and the public who came in large numbers during the three days just concluded. A more than ever positive balance therefore with more than 30% of flows compared to the first edition which had registered around 50 thousand presences.

The 8 stations saw numerous offerings, as is tradition, land in the “hats” of the selected artists.

An international edition with presences from Spain, Argentina, Austria, Mexico, Colombia; a contamination in the name of culture and joy with a fantastic closing yesterday evening that saw the performance of all the artists under the stage close to the small beach of the Port where the SiO Orchestra of San Fior and Godega (Veneto) composed of 48 young members, who received the Civilitas Award “Civilization in the Community” under the high patronage of the European Parliament.

Among those present was Greta, aka Grex Spanish singer from Madrid who participates in the talent show The Voice Iberico. An additional satisfaction for the organization. The shows of Suricata Circus were highly appreciated by the public.

Not only music and games but also a look at the environment. On the beach, 6 bags containing plastic waste (600 bottles) were collected on the initiative of the Ostia Clean Up association. And in this regard, over 1500 bricks of water were distributed, a sign for the protection and culture of the environment.

Among the attractions along the 1200 meters of the route, jugglers, mimes and musicians and a Bibliot-Eco space where in exchange for 5 plastic bottles it was possible to receive a book. And in this regard 100 were distributed.
