Sal Da Vinci returns five years after his last artistic project with the new album of unreleased songs "We are Sea Drops“, out tomorrow September 17th in digital stores, and the September 24th in record stores.
“Siamo Gocce di Mare” is perhaps the most intimate and introspective album, in which Sal Da Vinci digs into the depths of stories and feelings experienced. Accompanying the artist on this new journey of 15 songs is the maestro Adrian Pennino who took care of the artistic direction with Da Vinci and the arrangements of the songs.
Renato Zero, who paid homage to Sal's song by giving the album its evocative title, dedicates these words to his friend and colleague: “Your healthy roots, it comforts me to know, are still present and intact. And Naples, thanks to you too, still reaches me, so fragrant and irresistible!"
Da Vinci describes the new project as follows: “Here once again, to express all my joy in such lean times of enthusiasm. Here once again in possession of that energy that only if you love your people you can tell all the sea of love that there is. Together once again, like two drops of the sea, two drops that sail together. Here once again to tell in the notes and words of songs. And then you understand why songs exist, that serve to make life superlative and in which everything is more than what life is. When we are two steps away from each other, we become a song, we become in love".
The singer will present the album at theFormer Nato Base of Bagnoli, September 19th, for a concert-event that immediately sold out.
