The house is located just 500 meters from the Provincial Command, in a context of densely populated condominiums. The Carabinieri of the Salerno Mercatello station, together with the Radiomobile section and with the support of two anti-drug and anti-explosive dogs, discovered inside the house 7 blocks of hashish for over half a kilo, various pieces of the same drug for another 30 grams, scales and 82 homemade pyro-explosive devices for over 3,5 kg in weight.
Another 20 grams of hashish were found in a chest. The two brothers tried in vain to get rid of a safe by throwing it from the balcony, but were stopped by the military: inside were stored 53 blocks of hashish for approximately 5,2 kg, in addition to 325 grams of cocaine inside heat-sealed envelopes.
An additional one was found in the house hidden safe in a shopping bag placed inside the washing machine of the service bathroom; the safe, opened by the brothers like the previous one, revealed contents of approximately 120 thousand euros in cash. Inside the master bathroom were stored materials for cutting and packaging the drug, including about a hundred sachets with pressure seals.
A seizure for a total of almost 6 kg of hashish, in addition to 325 grams of cocaine, 3,5 kg of explosive material and approximately 120 thousand euros in cash.
