Scafati, Grimaldi: 'Less shopping centers and more support for families'

"The right to housing is an absolute priority for us. Since the previous council, with questions and political complaints, we have insisted that legality be respected, and above all - more than anything - the right of the weakest groups to have housing, a home for their family.

It is unfortunate to note that there is continuity between the previous one and the current leadership of the city: on the slowness of assignments, on the ability to manage housing efficiently and transparently, on the lack of strategic planning to increase the quality and quantity of housing to be allocated to those in difficulty.
The very slowness with which we are adapting to the new regional regulation is a serious warning sign.

For this reason we have presented a new council question: to get answers and demand efficiency and transparency son the management of accommodation, on assignments and rankings, on planning.

If the competent Councillors, instead of busying themselves with advertising sporadic cultural events as great successes, took care of what is within their competence, without always unloading everything onto the offices, it would already be a step forward.”
