'September at the Borgo', the festival directed by Enzo Avitabile

It will be held from Thursday 9 a Sunday September 12 a Casertavecchia the 49th edition of the festival September at the Borgo, Directed by Enzo Avitabile.

Music, art, theater, literature and promotion of the territory will enliven for four days the welcoming medieval village that rises on the Tifatini mountains with shows, concerts, book presentations, exhibitions and moments of discussion.

Organized by the Municipality of Caserta and financed by the Campania Region, this edition of September at the Borgo – which has as its subtitle “And I come to look for you” – will host performances by great names in Italian music, protagonists of the 21.30pm concerts at Tower Theatre.

Among the most anticipated guests Colapesce and Dimartino (September 9), Gianluca Petrella with the project Cosmic Renaissance (September 10), Arisa (September 11) e Simona Molinari (September 12).

"And I come looking for you, in addition to being a tribute to the great Franco Battiato, is an aspiration rather than a hope that this festival brings together people, coming from different places, fueled by the desire to see, know, discover and live” underlines the artistic director Enzo Avitabile. "Positive energy and natural aggregation are the secret of this spontaneous meeting of multiple realities that develop together in a dialogue of peace and tolerance. September at the Borgo, also this year wants to be sharing, awareness that only together can we build something that will last".

In addition to music, ample space will be dedicated to literature and writing with the section “A Hamlet of Books”By Luigi Ferraiuolo, which anticipated the festival in August and will continue until September 12. Writers, authors, journalists and figures from the world of culture will enliven the festival with their contributions. Among them: Diego De Silva, Gianluca Lioni, Federico Cafiero De Raho, Don Tonino Palmese, Pierluigi Vito, Marco Bentivogli.

There is also space for the wine talk experience "Goblets at the Borgo”, dedicated to the great wines of Campania and Caserta. Every day there will be two closed-number sessions at 19:20 pm and XNUMX:XNUMX pm with tastings and insights that will feature producers, sommeliers and industry experts in the gardens of the Cathedral of Casertavecchia.

The programme also includes several collateral events that promote local artists and talents.

To access the concerts scheduled at the Teatro della Torre, you must book your seat on Eventbrite. Access to the concerts is permitted to spectators in possession of the Green Pass or with a negative swab performed no later than 48 hours before the event.
