From Chiaia to Scampia to dispose of waste, two reports

The Naples Local Police discovered a vast illegal traffic of waste that, produced in various construction sites opened in the Chiaia neighborhood, was disposed of in Scampia where, without authorizations or adequate precautions to limit contamination of the soil and air, a real landfill had been set up.

The officers managed to track down and identify both the owner of the building materials shop, PL, 42 years old, resident in Secondigliano, and the manager of the transport company, MG, 33 years old, resident in the Camaldoli area, reporting both to the judicial authorities for illegal management of special waste.

The premises transformed into a landfill, together with the van used for the crime, were placed under judicial seizure.
