Five of them ended up under house arrest by order of the judge of the Benevento court, Loredana Camerlengo, at the request of the prosecutor, Licia Fabrizi.
The precautionary measures were carried out at dawn by the agents of the Telese Terme police station. Three men and two women between the ages of 21 and 47 are facing charges of criminal association and drug dealing. The agents also seized some postal savings books containing the profits from crack and cocaine dealing.
The five were considered a point of reference for drug addicts in the Telesina valley, also for the prices they charged. 20 euros for a dose of crack, 50 for cocaine. By following the movements of some stoic drug addicts in the area, the agents identified the homes used to sell drugs. One in particular, equipped with an air conditioner with an external motor that acted as a safe.
At each appointment, one of the suspects from a back exit took a ladder and dismantled the cover of the air conditioning engine to take the goods and deliver them to the customer. Telephone and environmental interceptions from last February to today have allowed us to acquire elements useful for the investigation and reconstruct the dense network of relationships, including with the Caserta underworld that supplied the gang.
