Terni. "I want to finish my studies at Terni prison because I've enjoyed it here." A 50-year-old man turned himself in to the Terni police station on Monday, asking to be returned to the Umbrian prison.
To the officers, surprised by that anomalous situation, the man explained that he was the recipient of a 20-year prison sentence, with the intention of serving it in the Terni prison, where he had been incarcerated for several years for previous convictions. So the man went to the Terni police headquarters even before the court had issued the executive order. According to what was reported by the police headquarters, the 50-year-old explained that in that prison he had begun a training course, which had however been interrupted, shortly before the final diploma, due to his release from prison. As reported by the police headquarters, "the XNUMX-year-old told the officers that he already knew all the teachers and that he had really enjoyed his time with them".
His intention was to “finish the fifth year and not want to waste any more precious time”. At the end of the ritual procedures, the man was then taken by a patrol to prison.
