In the splendid setting of the Vanvitelliano Park of Fusaro from Bacoli, Saturday September 18 2021 at 17.00 pm, the event “Ardent earth” promoted by the Campi Flegrei Regional Park Authority.
The presentation press conference held in the charming Casina Vanvitelliana was attended by the President of the Park Authority Francesco Maisto, the Councilor for Tourism and Culture of the Campania Region Felice Casucci, the Councilor Mariano Scotto di Vetta representing the Municipal Administration of Bacoli, Massimo D'Antonio, administrative manager of the Regional Park Authority of the Campi Flegrei, Dr. Francesco Talamo representing the Archaeological Park of the Campi Flegrei, Maestro Giovanni Borrelli with the "Ensemble Barocco Accademia Reale", Dario and Umberto Milazzo representing the cooperative society "Quarto Canale Flegreo"; the latter winners of the expression of interest promoted by the Regional Park Authority of the Campi Flegrei for activities to promote the Phlegraean territory.
After the ritual interventions of the institutional representatives, the Maestro Giovanni Borrelli ofEnsemble Baroque Royal Academy illustrated the program of the musical event, focused on the Baroque music of the 700th century which aims to become a regular event for the Campi Flegrei, while Dario Milazzo di Fourth Phlegraean Channel described the project for the creation of the educational and naturalistic documentary on Protected Marine Reserves which will be produced by next December.
After the presentation at 19:00 pm, a large audience attended with interest the artistic performance of the musicians and actors of the Baroque Ensemble Accademia Reale who performed in a concert entitled “The Sublime Song”, directed by Maestro Giovanni Borrelli.
In the square in front of the offices of the Park Authority, on the banks of Lake Fusaro, the guests were able to listen to the arias and virtuosities of authors of the calibre of GF Haendel, JA Hasse, R. Broschi, GB Pergolesi, N. Porpora. L. Vinci.
An explosion of sounds, images and emotions that saw the fusion of the musicality of the time with the architectural charm of the Casina Vanvitelliana in Bacoli, places where artists and composers passing through during the Grand Tour they found hospitality and inspiration.
The costumed figures of the “Association of Historical Reenactors Period Fantasies” they enriched the event by crossing Lake Fusaro with a vintage boat reaching the square in front of the stage where the concert was held.
At the end of the evening, a refreshment buffet with Phlegraean tastings by the chef, in the company of the artists on the magnificent panoramic terrace of Lake Fusaro in the “Oyster” was coordinated and offered by “Villa Reflection".
