Torre Annunziata: The Guardia di Finanza carried out 632 checks on vehicles and people: 45 illegal situations were detected, including reports to the Judicial Authority and reports to the Prefecture, for drugs, violations of the Highway Code and building abuse.
As part of its ongoing security monitoring efforts in the urban and metropolitan area, the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, acting on orders from the Prefect of Naples, Marco Valentini, and after consulting with the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, has recently planned several "High Impact" operations in the most crime-ridden neighborhoods of Torre Annunziata.
The checks involved the Penniniello district, the central area, Piazza Sant'Alfonso, Piazza Imbriani, the port area, via Terragneta (ex Deriver area), the southern area and the Poverelli district.
The “Baschi Verdi” of the Torre Annunziata Group, supported by colleagues from the Pronto Impiego Group of Naples and the canine units of the Capodichino Company, have carried out checks in the last week.
In particular, an area of approximately 300 m2 was seized in the Carminiello district, where there are 33 garages built without any planning permission; an equal number of individuals were reported for building abuse.
The interventions are part of the constant activity of general prevention and economic control of the territory carried out by the Neapolitan Fiamme Gialle, also in synergy with the other Police Forces, in order to counter widespread illegality in the Torre Annunziata area, which remains the object of maximum attention by the Government Authority and the Police Forces.
