The agents of the Torre Annunziata Police Station and the military of the Provincial Command of the Financial Police, with the support of personnel from the Flying Squad, the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, the IV Mobile Unit, the Anti-Drug Canine Unit of the General Prevention Office, the Green Berets of the Emergency Response Group of Naples and Torre Annunziata, the Canine Units and the Naval Air Operations Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples and a team of Firefighters, carried out a "high impact" operation in Penniniello Park, Poverelli Park and in the port area.
During the activity they were identified 208 people, of which 4 were fined for failure to comply with anti-Covid-19 measures because they were not wearing masks, 117 vehicles were checked, a violation of the Highway Code was contested for failure to display circulation documents, a driver was administratively fined for possession of a narcotic substance for personal use because he was found in possession of 0,5 grams of marijuana and his driving license was revoked.
Furthermore, the financial police and the police officers, within a common area of the Penniniello Park, they found 84 doses with approximately 88 grams of marijuana, a precision scale and various materials for packaging drugs, while, inside the port area, they seized a toy gun without red cap.
