It starts with a party on stage, Friday September 10 a Milan the twenty-first edition of Tramedautore – International Drama Festival, realized by Outis – National Center for Contemporary Drama, founded by Angela Lucrezia Calicchio, in collaboration with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano and with mare culturale urbano, for the new artistic direction of Andrea Capaldi and the artistic consultancy of Michele Panella.
The claim of the 2021 edition “Here we go!” reflects the desire to be together again, as in an assembly, to learn through theatre to recognise and exorcise the fears of the present, also returning to celebrate and find strength in continuing the journey.
Al Little Theater Studio Melato 20.30pm it goes on stage like this "At the feast of Romeo and Juliet”, a show directed by Benedetto Sicca, born from the artistic partnership with Emanuele D'Errico, for a multi-handed rewriting of a great classic of all time. After its debut at the Campania Teatro Festival, the show, an all-Neapolitan co-production, Tradizione e Turismo and Putéca Celidònia, arrives at Tramedautore in regional premiere. It will be interpreted by Francesco Aricò, Clara Bocchino, Marialuisa Bosso, Emanuele D'Errico, Teresa Raiano, Francesco Roccasecca, Dario Rea.
A Putéca Celidònia, a young and appreciated company born in 2018 from the union of six young actors from the School of Stable Theater of Naples, the Tramedautore festival dedicates a sort of retrospective.
On stage the following day (Saturday 11th, 20.30 pm), again at the Teatro Studio Melato, also “On the other side. 2 + 2=?”, written and directed by Emanuele D'Errico and in regional premiere, a show classified in 2019 as a semi-finalist at the Scenario Award and winner of the Giovani Realtà del Teatro Award, inspired by a study by the neuroscientist Marian Diamond, a professor at the University of California, who claims that more than half of neurons are lost during prenatal development. The process, which continues throughout life, would make one look, imaginatively, at the moment of conception as the pinnacle of genius, and three fraternal twins in the womb try to counteract this inevitable process, awaiting birth.
