Giugliano, home isolation with a ban on leaving homes until September 15th and a ban on entry and exit from the area with police presence at the access points.
The nomad camp on Via Carrafiello in Giugliano, in the province of NAPLES, becomes a sort of red zone by order of the governor of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca. The decision came after a resident of the camp tested positive for Covid on August 31, where 70 families are settled with an indicative number of 500 people in total “who live – it is written in the provision signed by De Luca – close interpersonal relationships in precarious hygienic and health conditions”.
The man is currently hospitalized in the Covid ward of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital in Pozzuoli “he was unable to report his close contacts” while a family member explained that “there were close interpersonal relationships between the positive citizen and numerous other residents of the camp”.
The members of the family nucleus of the man who tested positive were thus subjected to a molecular swab and all of them also tested positive for the virus. Hence the need to "avoid the risk of a wide and unmanageable spread of the virus".
