Friday 14th October, at 21.00 pm, there will be the eagerly awaited absolute theatrical premiere of the show that opens the 2021/2022 program: Neapolitan adage. Song of love, the musical with the Neapolitan Canzone Stabile company written and directed by Bruno Garofalo.
On the same day the inauguration will be held Room of Wonders, a virtual space, unique and innovative in the Italian and international panorama, designed by director Bruno Garofalo from an idea by Marisa Laurito, which will offer the public, with a multisensory experience, the possibility of immersing themselves in the history of Neapolitan song thanks to the digitalization project promoted by the Campania Region and implemented by Scabec, the Region's in-house company for cultural heritage.
Neapolitan adage, already presented with public success in streaming during the most critical period of the pandemic, is the largest production of the Teatro della Canzone napoletana. The production includes the rich cast of actors, singers, dancers and musicians of the company Stabile della Canzone napoletana, which Marisa Laurito defines as "the backbone of the theater".
The show is a journey through the Neapolitan melodies of the twentieth century, a succession of single and independent scenes that range across various seasons and emotions in a highly evocative scenario of the atmospheres, places and images that constitute the aesthetic component of the city.
A significant production, in short, which, by enhancing the greatest endogenous cultural asset, namely our musical heritage, also aims to contribute to the enhancement of the Neapolitan tourist offer. For this reason, the show will be periodically performed in the historic theater of Forcella.
