A family plot of land belonging to the M5S candidate for mayor of Battipaglia, Enrico Farina, went up in flames: “Maybe malicious, I hope my candidacy has nothing to do with it”
"My family land caught fire, burning with it centuries-old olive trees that my grandparents cultivated with sacrifice for decades, causing me damages for thousands of euros. In these hours we are trying to understand the origin of the fire, which appears to be malicious. If it were to be confirmed that it was an act of vandalism, my condemnation is strong against those who damage nature and the environment".
The candidate for mayor of Battipaglia of the 5 Star Movement has denounced it Henry Farina. “I really don't want to think that this has anything to do with my candidacy for mayor, but if the investigations lead to this conclusion, know that I will not back down an inch from my political path to give Battipaglia the redemption it deserves”.
“As Giuseppe Conte, visiting Battipaglia, said, we citizens have the duty to fight for our territory, against crime and bad politics. I will stay in my place. Let's make this land reborn”. – concludes Farina.
