Pre-academic exams for students of 'De Bellis' in Torre del Greco

Monday October 18 It was a very important day for theDe Bellis Musical Association of Torre del Greco.
The young and very young musicians in fact took pre-academic exams and preparatory musical exams in the classes of theory and solfeggio, clarinet, trumpet, percussion, piano and saxophone.

The exams had been missing since 2019 due to the covid emergency. This increased the anticipation and increased the expectations of the kids who returned to perform in front of an audience, albeit limited to teachers, in an atmosphere of great emotion and enthusiasm.

Maestros Pasquale Pinna and Anna Monacelli, from the Conservatory of Salerno, visibly appreciated the preparation of the boys who performed complex and demanding studies, demonstrating great study and application.

Particularly excited and brilliant were the young students who took the preparatory musical exams: Luigi Pignataro for the piano and percussion class, Annachiara D'Amore for the percussion class and Domenico Pio Pollio for the trumpet class. The teachers of De Bellis were satisfied with the outcome of the exams, in particular the director, Maestro Francesco Izzo, who had words of great affection for the students, praising their tenacity and commitment that never failed in two years of blackout.

The hope now is that this small step towards normality can continue without suffering any more setbacks because music is a fundamental part of our lives and deserves to return to the center of cultural activities in our society.
